Gerald has more than 13 years of experience in investment advisory, and was most recently the Head of Singapore Securities Research at Credit Suisse. He was ranked top Singapore research analyst by Institutional Investor every year between 2016 to 2020. Gerald believes in helping retail investors achieve financial wellness by providing curated investment content and education programs, and serves on the CFA Society Singapore university outreach committee. 

Imelda Tan brings more than 20 years of experience managing equity portfolios across Asia Pacific ex Japan, with deep expertise in the Singapore market. Having invested through multiple market cycles, she brings an institutional approach to portfolio construction, security selection and risk management.

Before joining Beansprout, Imelda was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Nomura Asset Management Singapore, where she managed equity mandates for sovereign wealth funds and pension institutions, as well as retail mutual funds.

At Beansprout, Imelda helps strengthen the investment framework behind our investment analysis, bringing institutional quality research and portfolio thinking to retail investors.

Hui Min has over 15 years of experience in Asian equities. She was most recently a Senior Equity Portfolio Manager at Banque Pictet & Cie, where she managed Asia equity portfolios for the ultra-high-net-worth clients. Her extensive background in investment research spans roles at Capital Group Companies and Credit Suisse, where she began her career as a Research Associate. Her investment approach combines rigorous fundamental analysis with a keen eye on macroeconomic trends and market dynamics. Passionate about empowering investors, she dedicates her free time to studying global markets and helping others make informed investment decisions.

Lay Peng has extensive research experience covering Singapore companies across both equity and credit markets. She has led deep-dive research on Singapore corporates across all market capitalisations, combining rigorous fundamental analysis with sharp sector insights. Known for her disciplined stock selection and clear assessment of intrinsic value, she has driven consistent portfolio outperformance. Her work combines bottom-up research with macro insights and ESG integration, grounded in nearly twenty years of investment experience.

Nicole Ng is passionate about helping others to grow their wealth. Nicole was formerly leading the commercial and partnerships team for a financial education platform and building relationships with Southeast Asian clients in the financial services vertical. She was also previously the Content Marketing Manager at Stashaway, where she created thought leadership and personal finance content for the website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and other marketing channels.

Nicole graduated from Upper Iowa University with a First Class Honors in Bachelors of Science (BS), Finance. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
