Fund Highlights
Fund Description
The CSOP FTSE Asia Pacific Select Index ETF is a physical, passively managed equity ETF that seeks to track the FTSE Asia Pacific Select Index and invests in companies with low carbon exposure across Asia-Pacific markets.
Key Features
- 1Exposure to Asia-Pacific companies with low carbon exposure
The ETF invests in securities of companies with low carbon exposure across Asia-Pacific markets. Its underlying index uses sustainable investment data relating to operational carbon emissions and fossil fuel reserves. The index methodology also considers specified environmental, social and governance factors. The portfolio is therefore constructed around the sustainability criteria embedded in the FTSE Asia Pacific Select Index.
- 2Passive index-tracking strategy
The fund aims to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the performance of the FTSE Asia Pacific Select Index. It follows a passive management, or indexing, investment approach. Rather than necessarily holding every security in the index, the manager uses a representative sampling strategy. Quantitative analytical models are used to select a representative portfolio through a process described as portfolio sampling.
- 3Listed on SGX with SGD and USD counters
The ETF’s units are listed and traded on the Singapore Exchange. Investors can trade the SGD counter under the stock code LCS or the USD counter under LCU. The fund itself is denominated in USD. Its management fee is currently 0.60% per annum of its net asset value, with a stated maximum of 0.80% per annum.
