How I earned S$270 in rewards with Moomoo promo

What happened?

Rewards have become harder to come by lately.

Banks have been trimming deposit rates, and most cashback offers now come with more steps and tighter limits.

So when I saw a Moomoo promotion that could be stacked with a Beansprout exclusive perk, I decided to run the numbers.

By funding my Moomoo account and meeting the promotion requirements, I could unlock stacked rewards worth S$270.

In this article, I will walk through exactly what I did, what I received, and the key conditions to note before you try to replicate it.

Reward #1 – Beansprout promo: S$50 voucher

This is the simplest reward in the stack.

It is a S$50 FairPrice voucher from Beansprout for new Moomoo users who sign up via this exclusive Beansprout link and fund at least S$2,000.

Here is what I did:

• First, I signed up for a Moomoo account through the Beansprout link.
• Next, I went into the Moomoo app, searched ‘Special Deposit’, and entered the promo code BEANSPROUTS1 before funding my account.
• Then, I funded S$2,000 into my Moomoo account. No trades are required to receive this reward.
• Finally, I submitted my details via this Google form to receive the voucher.

Reward #2 – S$220 NVIDIA fractional shares by signing up through Beansprout and increasing deposits to S$10,000

The good news does not stop at the S$50 FairPrice voucher.

After funding my Moomoo account, I increased my deposit by S$8,000 to bring it to S$10,000. I then kept it there to meet the 30-day asset maintenance requirement.

By doing so, I unlocked S$220 worth of NVIDIA fractional shares, made up of:

• S$120 NVIDIA fractional shares from the standard welcome bundle, and
• An extra S$100 NVIDIA fractional share that is exclusive if you sign up via Beansprout 🎁

Alternatively, if I increased my deposit by S$1,000 to bring it to S$3,000, I would still get S$40 NVIDIA share, which would bring my total rewards value to S$90.

How the NVIDIA shares are credited and unlocked

One thing I paid attention to was the redemption flow.

After completing the deposit task, I had to tap ‘Claim’ on the campaign page.

The NVIDIA fractional shares were then issued into ‘My Rewards’, and they stayed frozen while the maintenance requirement was ongoing. 

Once the conditions were satisfied, the shares were unlocked and credited to my Moomoo SG universal account, typically within 5 trading days. 

In my case, I also had to complete one trade in the app before the rewarded NVIDIA shares became usable. This is worth checking in your own rewards screen, because the exact activation step can depend on the specific reward mechanics shown in-app.

On top of the NVIDIA shares, the welcome bundle also includes S$130 in trading cash coupons, which are broken down into:

• 2 x S$50 trading cash coupons (total S$100)
• 2 x S$15 trading cash coupons (total S$30)

3 key things I checked to earn S$270 in rewards with Moomoo

Before I funded my account, I narrowed it down to three practical checks.

The rewards are straightforward, but only if you follow the steps in the right order. 

1) I applied the promo code before funding

This is one of the easiest steps to miss.

I made sure to enter the promo code BEANSPROUTS1 in the app before transferring any funds, since the sign-up flow matters for tracking the Beansprout-exclusive rewards.

2) I was comfortable parking S$10,000 for 30 days

To unlock the S$220 worth of NVIDIA fractional shares, I had to hit the specific deposit requirement for that reward tier.

That meant depositing S$10,000 into my Moomoo SG universal account and maintaining the assets for 30 days. 

3) I understood how the NVIDIA shares are credited and when they become usable

I also checked how the NVIDIA reward works operationally.

The NVIDIA fractional shares are first issued under My Rewards, and they stay frozen while the maintenance requirement is ongoing.

After they are unfreeze, Moomoo typically credits them into the universal account within 5 trading days.

What else do I get?

On top of the S$50 FairPrice voucher and the NVIDIA fractional shares, I also received a set of welcome gifts that can lower my investing costs if I use the platform more actively.

Here’s what was included:

• Lifetime commission-free in the U.S. stock market
• 1 year commission-free for the SG market covering stocks, ETFs and REITs

These welcome gifts can reduce what you pay over time, especially if you make multiple trades or you like having live market data without paying extra.

For me, the most practical benefits are the commission-free trading windows and the included market data, since they help keep frictional costs lower even after the initial signup rewards are collected.

Also, there are extra trading tasks and rewards such as trading cash coupons and other campaign rewards beyond the deposit-based rewards.

If you already plan to trade, you can stack additional rewards on top of the deposit bundle.

These rewards tend to be task-based, so the value depends on whether you complete the required actions.

Here are examples of what you can earn:

• Trading cash coupons for completing buy orders

  If you complete two buy orders of any amount for whole shares (fractional shares excluded), you can receive S$50 in trading cash coupons (S$25 x 2).

• Small extra coupons from learning missions

  If you complete “Learn to Win” tasks, you can earn up to S$5 in trading cash coupons.

• Short-term yield boost coupon for Singapore funds

  If you try the Singapore Funds feature, you can earn a 6% yield for 7 days coupon. It has a minimum activation order of S$100, and it only boosts yield on a maximum order size of S$10,000.

• Options gift pack rewards if you trade options

  If you are exploring options, you can earn an Options Trading Gift Pack with rewards worth up to US$503.

Just keep in mind these trading-related rewards are not automatic.

You only benefit if you complete the tasks and meet the eligibility rules, so I treat them as a bonus on top of the core deposit-based rewards.

Moomoo 2026 Angbao Draw - Limited-time angbao for a chance at extra rewards

On top of the welcome bundle, you can also take part in the Moomoo SG 2026 Angbao Draw.

You open a Chinese New Year angbao in-app, and the reward is issued at random. 

The rewards can include:

• Trading cash coupons up to S$888
• Fractional US shares such as Apple or NVIDIA
• Moo points that can be used within the Moomoo platform

Rewards differ slightly for new and existing users, and if you are a new user there may be an additional step to unfreeze your angbao reward after claiming.

Is Moomoo promo too good to be true?

Some people may still be skeptical and ask: could this be a scam?

Moomoo Financial Singapore is licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and operates under a Capital Markets Services (CMS) licence.

For those of you who are familiar with online brokers, Moomoo is a low-cost brokerage platform that provides access to buying and selling stocks and other capital markets products through its app.

According to Moomoo Singapore, the moomoo app has surpassed 1.5 million users as of July 2025, which represents 1 in 2 Singapore residents aged 20 to 70.

This milestone marks a 50% increase in user growth within just 15 months, following the 1 million user milestone in April 2024.

On the custody side, Moomoo states that customer cash is held in trust accounts with DBS Bank, and that client funds and assets are segregated from the broker’s own funds.

Even so, I still checked that I read all the terms and conditions relating to the promotions, including requirements on applying the promo code before deposit, meeting the minimum deposit amount, and maintaining assets for the required period. 

Summary of Moomoo promotion

So this is how I received ~S$270 worth of rewards from Moomoo with a S$10,000 deposit.

By signing up with Moomoo, I managed to turn a one-off S$10,000 deposit into rewards that are relatively straightforward to track.

If you fund S$2,000 after entering the promo code BEANSPROUTS1, you can receive an exclusive S$50 FairPrice voucher from Beansprout with no trades needed, as long as you submit the claim form.

If you deposit S$10,000 and maintain it for 30 days, you can unlock S$220 of NVIDIA fractional shares, including an extra S$100 NVIDIA bonus that is exclusive to signing up via Beansprout. 

On top of the NVIDIA shares, you also receive S$130 in trading cash coupons, split into two S$50 coupons and two S$15 coupons, which can offset trading costs if you place trades.
