Company Description

China Construction Bank (CCB) is one of the "Big Four" state-owned commercial banks in China, headquartered in Beijing. The bank provides a wide range of financial services including personal banking, corporate banking, treasury operations, and infrastructure financing. CCB has historically been a leading lender to China's infrastructure and housing sectors and remains one of the largest mortgage providers in the country. The group operates an extensive domestic branch network and has overseas presence across major international financial centres. CCB is dual-listed in Hong Kong and Shanghai and is consistently among the largest banks in the world by total assets. Its major shareholder is Central Huijin Investment, an arm of the Chinese sovereign wealth fund. The bank is supervised by the National Financial Regulatory Administration and the People's Bank of China.
