AIA Group is the largest pan-Asian life insurance company, headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The group has a presence in 18 markets across the Asia-Pacific region, including Mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. AIA offers life and health insurance, accident and disability cover, savings plans, and retirement and wealth management products. Its agency-led distribution model is among the largest in Asia, complemented by bancassurance and broker partnerships. Originally founded in Shanghai in 1919, AIA was spun off from AIG and re-listed independently in 2010.
