Xiaomi is a Chinese consumer electronics and connected-products company best known for its smartphones, IoT devices, and lifestyle products. Founded in 2010 by Lei Jun and headquartered in Beijing, the company is one of the world's largest smartphone makers by shipments. Beyond phones, Xiaomi sells smart TVs, wearables, home appliances, and a broad ecosystem of IoT devices through its "Mi Home" partner network. The company also operates a fast-growing internet services business spanning advertising, gaming, and fintech. In 2024 Xiaomi launched its first electric vehicle, the SU7, marking its entry into the automotive sector. Xiaomi sells across more than 100 markets, with particularly strong presence in China, India, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is a Hang Seng Index constituent.
