What is ADDX Singapore?

ADDX is a MAS-licensed investment platform that offers access to private market investments in smaller investment amounts.

It positions itself as a regulated digital investment platform that uses technology to make traditionally exclusive institutional investment opportunities more accessible to accredited investors with significantly lower minimums.

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, its shareholders include the Singapore Exchange (SGX), the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Temasek subsidiary Heliconia Capital, amongst others.

Is ADDX safe and legit?

In case you’re wondering if ADDX is safe, ADDX (ADDX Pte Ltd) is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). 

It holds a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license from the MAS, and is also a Recognised Market Operator (RMO).

In addition, when you open an account with ADDX, any money you deposit into your ADDX wallet is safely held in a customer-segregated account with their banking partner DBS, keeping it separate from ADDX’s own funds.

The platform's credibility is underscored by a successful US$58 million funding round in May 2022, which brought on new strategic investors.

ADDX in the news

In November 2025, ADDX and Franklin Templeton launched the first tokenised money market fund registered for retail investors in Singapore. 

In September 2025, ADDX expanded its product suite by distributing a new tokenised structured note issued by DBS. In the same month, ADDX also hosted the listing of ValueMax's two 3-month and one 6-month digital securities commercial paper.

In previous years, ADDX was featured on The Business Times for its innovative offerings, including launching its fixed income marketplace and digitised bond programme in 2024, fractionalizing a venture debt fund by UOB and Temasek-owned joint venture back in 2022, among many others.
