Here’s the spill - UOB credit and debit cardholders will have the privilege of obtaining Taylor Swift’s tour tickets a full 48 hours before the general public from 5 July 2023 onwards.

This means that if you want to get first dibs into buying the much coveted Taylor Swift tickets, you’d need to be a UOB cardholder.

After all, debit cards applications are typically faster as there is no credit check involved.

How to make sure you get your UOB debit card on time to get Taylor Swift presale concert tickets in Singapore

Ok, so your next question might be how do I get a UOB debit card in time for the Taylor Swift concert ticket pre-sale? 

After all, there might still be a long queue of debit card applications made online which might take a long time to be processed.

The best strategy is to apply for a savings account physically at the branch as you will be able to open your account and get your debit card immediately.

In fact, you can even check crowd levels at the branch to find the best timing to get your UOB account opened in the fastest time possible. 

Method #1 to skip the queue at UOB branch: UOB website

You can obtain a queue number from the UOB branch locator website and click ‘Get Q number’.

Note that this function is only available during service hours and every branch will have different opening hours.

 

Method #2 to skip the queue at UOB branch: UOB TMRW app

Another way is to obtain a queue number from the UOB TMRW app by clicking on ‘More’ and selecting ‘Branch Q’.

Method #3 to skip the queue at UOB branch:  SMS

Additionally, you may obtain a queue number by sending an SMS of the branch code to 77588.
