UOB Level Up Your Savings Promo: Get up to S$800 guaranteed cash with fresh funds

What happened?

UOB has launched its new Level Up Your Savings Promotion that allows you to earn up to S$800 guaranteed cash in a few simple steps.

From 1 July to 30 September 2026, eligible customers can earn up to S$700 guaranteed cash, while new-to-UOB Deposits customers can receive up to S$800 when they deposit fresh funds into an eligible UOB savings account.

UOB has also refreshed its SalaryPlus Promotion, where customers can now earn up to S$260 in cash rewards by crediting their salary, paying bills or receiving CDP dividends.

Already have a UOB account? 

If you already have an eligible UOB savings account, your Incremental Fresh Funds must increase your account balance above your account's Monthly Average Balance (MAB) for the qualifying month.

Once your fresh funds have been successfully deposited and earmarked, you will receive the guaranteed cash reward in addition to the interest earned on your savings account based on the prevailing interest rates.

Is there any catch to the UOB Level Up Your Savings Promotion?

One thing you should note of is that your fresh deposits will be earmarked for about 7 months. Since this might be a new concept to you, let’s go through what this means in more detail. 

When your funds are earmarked, they will no longer appear as part of your available account balance and cannot be withdrawn during the earmark period.

This means you should only use money that you do not expect to need over the next several months.

Please refer to the table below to see when the Earmark End Date is. While there is no auspicious timing to deposit your cash, the most ideal date to deposit your cash is always the later part of the Qualifying Period e.g. 31 July 2026, 31 August 2025 and 30 September 2026.

I would also take note that the interest earned in the savings account will be based on the prevailing rate.

Can I transfer funds from another UOB account to participate in this promotion?

Incremental fresh funds must be brought into your eligible UOB savings account and must not be transferred from an existing UOB current/savings account.

How to apply for UOB Level Up Your Savings Promotion

Step 1: Visit the UOB Level Up Your Savings Promotion page and register your participation.

You will need to:

• Key in your phone number that must match the Bank’s records
• Key in your email address
• Key in a valid 10-digit eligible UOB savings account number
• Select your Participating Deposit

Step 2: Deposit a minimum amount of S$20,000, S$50,000, S$100,000, or S$150,000 in Incremental Fresh Funds (the “Participating Deposit”) into your eligible UOB savings account.

Eligible UOB savings accounts include the UOB One Account, UOB Stash Account, UOB Lady's Savings Account, and UOB Passbook Savings Account.

The qualifying funds will then be earmarked for approximately seven months.

What would Beansprout do?

The UOB Level Up Your Savings Promotion is one of the ways that we can participate with fairly minimal effort.

For me, the attraction of the UOB Level Up Your Savings Promotion is that the cash reward is guaranteed.

The promotion becomes even more attractive if I'm already using an eligible UOB savings account and can continue earning bonus interest while my funds are earmarked.

That said, we need to be aware that the money put aside will be locked up for approximately 7 months, and make sure that it is not emergency cash we would need at short notice.
